I remember a time when I could sit and write for hours about you.
cliché upon cliché flowed onto the paper as I drew the timelines of our childish and immature perversion of love –
the kind where you told me you loved me because you wanted in my pants and I told you I did, too,
because I wanted it as bad as you.

But I fast forward four years to a time when you’re sitting on the couch reading and I’m blatantly looking at you
